Shane J. Prate is an Associate Attorney at Enchantment Legal, bringing a broad range of legal experience and a thoughtful, client-focused approach to his zealous advocacy.

Education & Experience

Born and raised in New Jersey, Shane graduated from Rutgers University in 2012 and Vermont Law School in 2017. During law school, he clerked for NJ Family Court Judge Angelo DiCamillo. Shane has developed a diverse legal background through work at both general practice and real estate law firms in New Jersey and New York City. He also worked in-house for a private insurance company in their Securities Law and Corporate Governance divisions.

Advocacy and Approach

In 2023, Shane relocated to Albuquerque to join Enchantment Legal. Here, Shane helps clients navigate legal challenges with clarity and confidence. He takes a truly client-centered approach, emphasizing clear communication, compassion, and strategic, well-prepared advocacy. Shane is known for his meticulous preparation, strong courtroom presence, and ability to translate complex issues into straightforward, practical guidance for clients.

Shane is a diehard Eagles fan (GO BIRDS!), an avid distance runner, and trains in both Krav Maga and Muay Thai.

Since moving to New Mexico, Shane quickly fell in love with the sunny days and dry climate. He’s still undecided in the Red vs. Green Chile debate, so he generally orders Christmas.
